who?
Oxfam Crusaders 7’s Club is a truly unique rugby sevens club based in Norfolk, in the UK. The club exists to fundraise voluntarily in aid of Oxfam and bring exposure to the invaluable work the charity does around the world. Fundamentally, we are a group of best friends who love the reason we play the best game in the world and the game itself.

Rugby 7's has been marketed to appeal to a much wider audience than most other team sports. Combining the best of the athletic, commercial and social side of sports - the stages we play on are as big as they come in pro-am rugby sevens. Our sport takes us around the world to some of the most amazing cities to host world-class events within; Las Vegas, Dubai and Amsterdam to name a few.

We run a full domestic and European calendar every year playing on the highest level possible - the Super Sevens Series - in the UK and venturing abroad to some of the biggest tournaments in the world too.
These tournaments boast attendance figures of thousands, major sponsorship and exposure opportunities, full social media coverage, press coverage, media/TV coverage and one of the most powerful sports networking platforms around.
With further support, we can take our local, amateur players, our club, our brand and our charity further afield and do more great work through this unique platform.
what?
Rugby 7's is the fastest growing ball sport in the world. It is the shortened, faster and lung-busting alternative to the XV's game that is played by men and women across the globe. Now an Olympic sport, the sport has been marketed to attract a broad demographic and bring a new audience to rugby both socially and commercially - at all levels.
Oxfam Crusaders play at a pro-am level - the second tier after the World Sevens Series. Typically we will take on a calendar of 8-10 events around the world, that all bring their own unique opportunities for players, sponsors and our club alike.

We are very proud to play in aid of Oxfam - one of the biggest humanitarian charities in the world. As of 2020, we are the only club to play in aid of Oxfam in any sport. Everything we fundraise or win through tournament prize monies goes directly to the invaluable work Oxfam do around the world.
Since our beginning in 2012, we have reached hundreds of thousands of people with our messages and we have raised thousands of pounds for Oxfam. We enjoy a strong link with Oxfam themselves and regularly work together, collaborate and promote each other throughout a calendar year.

It takes a huge financial commitment to run a sevens team at all levels especially the elite level. We try and provide all that we can, at the best level that we can for our club and those involved. Tournament costs, travel costs, kit costs and logistical costs are expensive and we rely on the generosity of our sponsors and partners to cover these. It is always our utmost intention and efforts to have no costs to our players or at least keep them to the very minimum.
In order for us to continue to do this, continue our upward trend in sevens and to expand the opportunity we provide to our players - in 2020 we are introducing the opportunity of player sponsorship. This totally personal level of sponsorship will provide your chosen player with new and improved opportunities in the world of sevens with us, offer great exposure for your brand if you so wish and of course, help #endpovertysooner through our voluntary support of Oxfam.

What's in it for you? Our club is made up of voluntary, players and staff predominantly from the East Anglian region. Many of our players were involved in some of our very first tournaments and are still here today. By supporting a player in 2020/2021 you will be providing them with an opportunity to perform on the Super Sevens Series, at a major European tournament such as Amsterdam and at a major international tournament like the Dubai 7's on the Los Angeles Invitational 7's.* Without this player sponsorship, these major events will not happen.

why us?
We are a young club that exits further than being a good rugby side. Scribbled on a napkin in a Frankie and Benny's restaurant in 2013, were the pillars of what we will always stand for, why we exist and where we'd like to go...
Underlined at the bottom was the mission statement that we would like to be; 'the most successful charity rugby sevens club in the world.'
